Educational Qualification JMC Recruitment 2024
1. Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil)
- B.Tech from a recognized University. / Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering and 2 years experience.
2. Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
- B.Tech from a recognized University. / Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years experience.
3. Additional Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
- B.Tech from a recognized University. / Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 2 years experience.
4. Junior Clerk cum Computer Operator
- Graduate of a recognized University
- CCC from a Government recognized institution as per the policy laid down by Govt. Examination (Computer Subject Qualification) must be passed
- No copy of any type of certificate shall be attached or uploaded while applying online for the above advertisement but successful candidates for the above vacancy will have to produce the certificate as mentioned in the advertisement when called for by the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation and at the time of appointment.
- Candidates selected for all the above posts will be required to appear in the prescribed examinations decided by the State Government / Corporation after the appointment and will be required to pass in the same order.
Qualification for JMC Recruitment 2024
C.C.C. As per the provision of rule-8(1)(a) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment General Rules – 1967, certificate of having basic computer knowledge has to be submitted in respect of pass qualification. General Administration Department of Govt. Resolution No.: CRR/10/2007/120320/G.5 dated 13-08-2008 has declared the course mentioned in sheet-1 as Basic Knowledge of Computer. Certificate from any institute regarding knowledge of computer subject as per this syllabus will be accepted. In addition, a certificate in any Diploma / Degree or Certificate course in Computer Knowledge from a recognized University or Government recognized Institute or having Computer as a subject in the Degree or Diploma course or Class 10 (SSC) and Class – 12 (HSC) examination passed with computer subject will be admissible. Candidates who do not have the certificate at this stage can apply but must produce this certificate during the trial period otherwise the appointment will be cancelled.
Age limit :-
- Age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years.
- Permanent employees of Government or Semi-Government Departments, in case of applicants, will be eligible for relaxation in their case subject to provision by the Govt.
- There shall be no age bar for permanent or contract basis employees of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation.
- All candidates other than Jamnagar Mahanagarpalika should not exceed 45 years of age on the due date with relaxation available in the upper age limit even in case of relaxation mentioned below.
